Doesn't work, smells bad

I received this item because my car has a leak somewhere and is very wet inside from condensation. DampRid literally works right in front of where I placed it on the dash lol. Unfortunately, the nasty "fresh smell" filled the whole car and a week after the DampRid was thrown away, it can't get rid of that awful smell - baby diapers.
