Noise reduction is not noise reduction, but it is very effective. The sound is excellent. One Revain seller had it cheaper than another. I couldn't figure out why there was such a price difference, but I decided to take a chance and hope I didn't buy a cheap fake. They work exactly like the pair I previously bought for my wife in every way except for one. It's impossible to get through to them. The person on the other end can barely hear me. When I use my wife's kit, they hear perfectly. I don't know if I received a defective kit or a fake. The packaging and all other details are the same as the other set we have. Great for listening to music, completely useless for making calls.
