Summary: I have some 56V Ego OPE (Outdoor Power Equipment) batteries and I want to be able to use them in an emergency. Most DC systems are rated for 12-48V, so 56V is above that. This DC/DC converter has a voltage rating of up to 60V. Notes: When comparing half and full load efficiencies, these converters lose a little more at full load and also generate more heat; Therefore, in terms of efficiency and durability, it would be better to choose it for half load. Of course that costs more. So if you have a 360w load and choose a 360w converter you will get 100% full load; On the other hand, if you choose the 720W size, you will have a half load of 50%. Suggestions: 1) Add an appropriately sized circuit breaker or fuse. Lots of guides online, usually 10-25% over max load (depending on circuit breaker and fuse). 2) Use the largest gauge wire suitable for your application. 3) Solder the connectors for more reliability and power efficiency. 4) Use an appropriately sized transducer; too big and you may waste energy; too small and you can overheat and shorten component life. Pros: There are fifteen (15) DC/DC converters on the DKPLNT list and most of them have good ratings/ratings. Cons: none yet. Conclusion: 5 stars for 80โฌ.
