I appreciate the approach and the ingenious attachment for Apple Pencil AND charging adapter. That alone justifies the 3 stars. The case holds the iPad well but a strong magnet would push it to 4 stars and finally the keyboard magnet works but there are two distinct downsides. 1) The keyboard has a silicone protective sleeve that should fit tighter, it just stays up and tends to move when you lift your device to move it to another location. 2) The keyboard is ALWAYS annoying. When you touch and want to fold the keyboard, it is uncomfortable to hold and starts to slide (the magnet is not strong enough). When you want to type a key, the bluetooth connection is slow AND the keyboard is in the wrong place to stand up on the iPad, you have to move it back and it's very annoying. If the iPad used the same case that had a very strong magnet attached, I'd easily give you 4.5 stars as it eases the transition between keyboard and touch/pencil. Be that as it may, this doesn't work smoothly for any of the use cases.
