I bought one for my 300 4 truck a year and a half ago, it started perfectly. then I bought one for my other four wheel truck. The starter failed around this time on the 95 so I ordered a starter rebuild kit, long story short, the magnet came loose from the first starter I bought and stalled operation. OEM starters have an internal bushing to prevent this. I tried to knock out the other magnets but broke them trying so it may have been an accident.
