I don't know what people were expecting when ordering this product but for example I received exactly what was pictured and described. This shoe organizer is lightweight, practical and has a piece that slides from the bottom on each side to keep its shape. (Note: one of the end dividers has velcro on each side to make inserting the bottom easier.) It's perfect for shoe storage. It fits perfectly under the bed and isn't so heavy that it's impossible to control when it's full. The idea is to have just one place to store the shoes. I use it to change and store my shoes seasonally and the one I ordered has freed up a lot of space in my closet and has allowed me to get rid of all those shoe boxes. The zipper is flimsy and you just need to be careful with it and be patient - just like anything else you want to lengthen. With careful handling, they should last quite a long time. Finally, I assume it will be used by adults who know how to use it. If unfortunately it arrives broken, you have Revain protection to replace it. defects happen. Mine were fine and they serve my purpose perfectly, but then again, I don't plan on throwing them across the room or anything. I highly recommend.
