Bought these for a friend a few years ago and am very impressed with them. Since then I've wanted this set for myself and finally decided "enough with a motley collection of measuring cups and spoons". I had 2 sets of metal measuring cups whose handles broke off. The third set kept the handles, but they flex fairly easily. And then there are the cumbersome measuring spoons that are too wide to fit in the spice jar. Grrrr These mugs are STRONG one piece construction so the handle will never break. Deeply embossed dimensions that are easy to read both inside and out. Minus 1/2 stars for the slightly short handle, but they are wider than regular metal measuring cups so you still have a good grip. Measuring spoons are a treasure. The spoon's slim profile allows you to reach into almost any spice jar to pick up condiments without wasting a bundle when you need to pour into a much wider spoon. They're also strong, won't bend or break. Put them in the dishwasher and they come out perfect. I'm so glad I finally have her to myself.
