At first I was looking for a milder dry food because one of our cats had trouble chewing for dental work, that's why she often threw away whole pieces. This product came up in my search for soft dry food and the ingredients looked really good and nutritious. Both cats like it a lot more and appear fuller. By the way, when I opened this product and compared it to what I already had, I cut it with kitchen scissors. This new product broke easily while I could not cut the old product. Both are Blue Buffalo products, but the one I gave them is for weight loss, which can be good for a cat who has all her teeth.
