I'm old school and love my big walking shoes. But lately I've been reading a lot about women who prefer to hike and even backpack in trail runners. So I decided to try them out. I ordered 1/2 up my usual size and they were still snug. I sent them back and ordered another 1/2 size up and they fit perfectly. I wore them right out of the box to do a Clouds Rest hike in Yosemite. These shoes were amazing. 14+ miles with 3800 feet of ascent = no problem in these shoes. Not a single sore spot, especially not a blister. So glad I didn't put on my heavy hiking boots!
