It's rare to write a bad review, but here it is. I bought three of these for an outdoor project (salt water mixing station) late last year (2015). After gluing everything together, a handle broke within 72 hours. Luckily in an open position, otherwise I would have had to cut the entire PVC line that day. I used the blue FORMUFIT pipe which is expensive and cutting the pipe to fix something like this is expensive and frankly ruins the aesthetic. However, after 6 months I am replacing the second valve and had to cut the pipe, add a coupler, replace and repair the entire line. For the same reason, the valve handle broke and I couldn't even turn it with a wrench to just close it. By my estimate, I actually turned this valve to close about a dozen times, maybe a dozen and a half, but no more. The third valve is the same. It's tight and difficult to turn, like all of them. After all, these inferior parts are costing me time and more money than I saved if I bought them at $2 each instead of others. I bought these because they had a blue handle to match my blue tube (stupid) and were $2 less than others I looked at. That $6 saved cost me another $33 to replace the entire line due to the cost of hoses, fittings and replacement valves. DO NOT! AVOID!
