This is a stylish pair of wing tip oxfords. I bought them because I had a pair years ago and because my father always wore wing tips. I like the platform. I wear an 8-81/2 so I was instructed to get a 9. They are rather big, I think the 8 would have been fine. They are comfortable. I can wear all day with no problem. They are not as comfortable as athletic shoes but close. They are a little stiff. They are not cheap looking and I have received lots of compliments. I bought the black ones. I would like the white also. I wish there were more colors that are not shiny. I don’t like the shiny ones.I do state in this review that I think the 8 would have been fine, well now I am not so sure. I measured them with a pair of size 8 shoes that I have and the oxfords and my size 8’s are exactly the same length. However the oxfords are a very chunky, clunky shoe and appears much larger. They do make my foot look huge if I am wearing with a slim or skinny pant. I have a wider, thicker, flatter foot so the size 9 is probably the best bet for me. If your foot is a narrow or slim 8 go with your regular size.I have worn them maybe 8/10 times. Some of those were all day at work. I am on my feet the entire day. My feet feel a little tired at the end of the day. Not hurting at all. The oxfords do not seem to be broke in yet. They are still stiff. I do still like them and they are worth the money. I wish more colors were available in the matte leather. I do not like the shiny ones at all. I do wish they didn’t make my average sized feet look like Herman Munster feet, as these would look so good in white with spring styles.
