Review on Weiman Silver Polish Bottle Pack by Heather Laudun

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I wish it had been better sealed; very good job on the earrings. Very old spoons cleaned in order.

I don't usually deduct stars for packaging. I almost made it. Two bottles arrived in a gray slim bag. I could smell the paint even before I opened it. I opened the bag and the silver polish spread inside the bag. When I opened the bottles I noticed that the bottles were not sealed. Just one screw on the lid. Although it seemed like a lot had spilled, I still had two very full bottles. I've used Weiman's silver polish in the past, although it wasn't a paste like this one. Then I chose Weiman because it felt like a well-known brand. It's always difficult for me to choose one brand from many. Some time ago I found old cutlery while rummaging in the attic. I tried Weiman's Silver Polish on it. Application: I simply poured a little onto a soft cloth and rubbed the paste into a spoon. After a few seconds, the spoon began to turn silver. I also tried it on some old silver earrings. It worked great and the earrings look great. Note on the spoons: The spoons are very old. Although the paste has turned them silver, I cannot clean the spoons because they are still stained. I'm sharing this because it has worked great for regular silver cleaning, like earrings. The spoons were in very poor condition and I feel I need to go further than the usual silver polishing paste. I feel like the spoons were outside of the usual cleaning tools.
