I had to return it immediately after opening the box and realizing the material was not in its original condition. The shipping box was undamaged, but a few pieces of bamboo inside had minor cuts. hit 1! "Nothing bad, probably, he won't even notice," I thought and started collecting. The instructions were clear and assembly would have been easy, but the pre-drilled holes for the seat did not line up with the holes on one of the side panels. hit 2! I should have ignored the sunk cost and then returned it. Instead I chose to continue as this was the final step in the build. After drilling additional holes, the part assembled well. It's a beautiful piece, but it's really all there is. Unless you are storing children's shoes, the tiered shelves only fit 2 pairs of shoes per level - I wear men's size 9 1/2. hit 3! The curved parts make it attractive. However, this is where it all ends. Not worth the time and money. Given its performance, I wouldn't recommend paying more than $65 for this thing. Even then, I hope you don't run into the build issues I had.
