Good quality, humid location, great accent for outdoor living spaces.

I am very happy with these fans. Wet speed fans are hard to find to accent open areas. They're great even if they don't have light kits. The two low speeds are pretty much useless in my opinion, but my fans are 10 feet apart in an open pavilion, which isn't exactly a fair comparison when used indoors. Also, I'm dealing with the Southeast Texas heat and I'm pretty sure you could classify the gazebo as an outside fryer in a heat of the day with that much air. The fans move a lot of air and are quiet enough for outdoor fans. If you're looking for zero noise, this isn't for you. Due to the pitch of the blades, these fans make some noise at high speeds, but that's their purpose - to move large volumes of air. You'll have a hard time finding fans who move as much as they do. After installation, one fan had no wobble and the other had a small amount, but not enough to justify using counterweights to eliminate the wobble. This was observed at all speeds. The fans are heavy for their size and feel well built. The bottom bars are specific to Emerson and are not the same size as those found in major stores. You can order longer tubing or use 1/2 gauge 40 black tubing. If you can't figure out how to do this, or don't have the tools to make it yourself, I would suggest ordering one. I didn't use the controllers that came with the fans, I ordered the Emerson 4 speed controllers. These are the only 4 speed remotes I could find anywhere and I am very happy with them. In general, I'm happy with all aspects of the fans.
