Review on 🚰 Stay Hydrated with the Badlands Insulated Hydration Reservoir and Drinking Tube by Mike Mitchell

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Almost a waste of money

Having used this bag for several weeks hunting moose and deer I can give an honest review. I used it in my Badlands Silent Stalker kit. Let me start by saying that this bladder is rubbish, or rather the tubing system is rubbish. The bag itself appears to be made of durable material, is easy to fill and clean, and doesn't have any noticeable bad taste. This is where the good ends. The quick connect hose is leaking. Be prepared for all your gear to get wet. And if that's not annoying enough, there's a mouthpiece. You can turn it on and off with two hands, and I leave it off when I'm not using it because, yeah, it flows like crazy. Worse, as soon as I turn it on and take a sip of water, a vacuum comes out of the mouthpiece, leaving me mostly humid air. To get a good sip of water, I have to remove the mouthpiece from the hose. At least I'm encouraged knowing I still have to use both hands. I figured it would work best with my backpack, but my old camelbak and platypus bladders are way better than this piece of junk.

Pros
  • ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY - Hydrafusion technology insulates the drinking tube to keep your water colder and longer. The Elite Surge Valve ensures a smooth flow of water and does not drip when not in use.
Cons
  • threadbare

Mike Mitchell, there are inaccuracies, but it's better for you not to know about it
