The comfort of these headphones (Tribit) has evolved from ordinary to extremely comfortable. The headband was a little too big so it sat just below my ears even in the fully retracted position. I first tried a different headgear cover to give a little "buoyancy" but then I tried these which not only give the slight buoyancy I need but also provide comfort I didn't even know I had, that they are missing. I thought maybe I need a longer case. But it's perfect as it is and I'd highly recommend it if you're covering up a worn strap or just want to add some comfort to your existing headphones. My headphone strap is about 1" wide and fits without being tight, so you could probably easily fit it to 1.5" to 1.75" wide headbands.
