Review on Aputure Barn Door for Aputure 🚪 120D Mark II, Aputure 120D, and Aputure 300D by John Frazier

I recently received a second Aputure COB120d (mark2 new version) and decided to give these barn doors a try. The build quality is pretty good (although I hope the rivets holding the hinges hold up), the inside of the flags are flocked to reduce reflections. The barn doors are fitted with a removable 30° grille for an additional light shape. The doors mount easily to the Bowens system and I suspect it could be used with other Bowens mounts. There is also a magnetic filter holder, great idea. Overall I'm very happy with it and have just ordered another one for my other COB120 flashlight. My only disappointment is that Aputure didn't make the COB120 lightbox big enough to store those lightweight barn doors.
