Review on Enhanced Wireless Connectivity: Lenovo ThinkPad Essential Mouse by Kero Montes ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

The main advantage is battery operation. It is best to buy batteries in the form of AA batteries and change them one by one. Before that, I had a mouse with a built-in non-replaceable battery, which lost almost all its capacity in four years, and now, instead of three months, it lasts a week, God forbid. Replacing it is a whole thing, if at all possible: you need to find a similar one in terms of output power and current, cut and solder the wires, and that's all, and it's not even a fact that the mouse's brain recognizes it. In short, it's all terrible hemorrhoids. Here I simply inserted a new battery, and put the old one on charge. The same applies to the microswitch - all elements are simple, like spare parts from nine, and are sold at every corner. Theoretically, it has good maintainability. Outcome? Minimalistic, reliable and good working mouse for home or office without obvious flaws.

Pros
  • It lies well in the hand, the buttons are pressed confidently and clearly, the minimalist design, the wheel never scrolls in slightly greasy fingers, as they wrote earlier in the reviews. Another small point - the microswitches on it are very common on the spare parts market, large, so in theory it will be easy to replace with similar ones if they break. Batteries, not built-in battery. How many matches in games I leaked, because the mouse with the built-in battery is dead - do not count. Here the battery died - immediately threw out the old one, inserted a new one, and drove on.
Cons
  • Keys are noisy. There is no sleep mode, you have to turn it off manually at night. The surface of the plastic is rough. In general, it feels and looks not like a mouse for two thousand, but like a simple one for three hundred. A little pricey for such minimalism. The top cover is held on by a small magnet. Theoretically, somewhere in a backpack it can easily fly off and the receiver can be lost.

Its pros: works on any surface, does not cause discomfort Cons below: The scroll wheel has no ribs, the wheel is small and very smooth, if the fingers are fat, the wheel will spin every other time
