The main advantage is battery operation. It is best to buy batteries in the form of AA batteries and change them one by one. Before that, I had a mouse with a built-in non-replaceable battery, which lost almost all its capacity in four years, and now, instead of three months, it lasts a week, God forbid. Replacing it is a whole thing, if at all possible: you need to find a similar one in terms of output power and current, cut and solder the wires, and that's all, and it's not even a fact that the mouse's brain recognizes it. In short, it's all terrible hemorrhoids. Here I simply inserted a new battery, and put the old one on charge. The same applies to the microswitch - all elements are simple, like spare parts from nine, and are sold at every corner. Theoretically, it has good maintainability. Outcome? Minimalistic, reliable and good working mouse for home or office without obvious flaws.
