I also have a small version so I thought I would order a small one but the medium one came. Upon opening the product, I found that I liked the medium one better. I bought this product primarily for my sugar gliders but also found it perfect for my guinea pigs. I like love that is a by-product and small isn't. It is easy to unfold, fold and wash. Be careful what you wash it with to avoid damaging it, but I can tell you I've washed the little one about 20 times with minimal damage. All in all this is a great product for small animals, not intended for cats or dogs as others have said. . I started by just soaking it in warm/hot water and then hand washing.***
