Suitable for a more balanced diet

My canaries LOVE this food. I usually buy them zupreem fruit granules as recommended by the vet. She wanted them to eat mostly pellets. She said it was better that way, and she was right. One bird suffered from recurring sinus infections but has not had a single infection since I switched to pellets. My canaries are healthy, happy and have shiny feathers since I switched to pellets. However, they lacked the seeds, so I bought the seeds to mix with the fruit pellets. Then I found Zupreem Smart Selects on Revains recommended shopping list. This feed contains pellets mixed with seeds. This saves me time and money because I don't have to buy seeds separately from pellets. Since my birds require a higher percentage of pellets (otherwise they only eat seeds), I add Zupreem fruit pellets to this feed. I do this regularly and my birds really enjoy the mix. I personally try not to feed them just this food because I think it should have more pellets. I think there are more seeds in there than my birds need. In general, this is my favorite food, only after fruit pellets. This provides a fabulously balanced diet if your birds are eating the pellets in the mix. I have noticed that more and more bird feed companies are adding pellets to their feed. I have tried several different brands and they are usually seed loaded. Zupreem products are a bit more expensive, but they are worth the price. I have four birds and this food will last me a month and a half if I change the food twice a day. If you have Prime, buying from Revain is cheaper than buying from Petco.
