As mentioned, the sockets are not positioned as they should be. But they work, and there are no problems other than logic and aesthetics. The box is metal, the power cord and plug are durable and will last for many years with normal use and minimal maintenance. It's made out of simple plastic and has a soft, clicking feel - almost the same as many home entertainment power strips. I believe that something intended for use in a workshop or construction site should have a larger recessed or guarded switch with a strong on/off click so it doesn't accidentally turn on or off due to shock, bumps or bumps. I can refer to that later.
