We were looking for play food for my daughter's kitchen and were trying to find a set with lots of options and as little cardboard as possible. These "pasta" boxes are thrown or stepped on and that's it and that's what we wanted to avoid - this packaging was the best we could find! The fries only came with pieces of cardboard, the rest of the food is solid, durable and fun! My 2 year old managed to step on some fruits and veggies and the plastic comes back with little persuasion. Honestly, for the price and variety, this is perfect for any kid's kitchen.
