As the original Intellimices are becoming increasingly difficult to find I was hoping it would be a modern replacement - it's close but not quite there . The shape has been retained, which is very important, but the button feel isn't very good and suffers from a common problem in mice that leads to health problems - too much force. The top buttons are noticeably harder to press than the original, and the left rear button is noticeably harder to press. The wheel's operation also requires more force on the detents, making it more difficult to move. The only thing that made the original great was the light touch of the controls, which allowed for less wrist strain and smoother use. This new version keeps its shape but may injure you due to the increased force on the buttons on all sides.
