Like everyone else I think this product is great. Unfortunately not perfect. First, if you don't have such a filler, you're doing yourself a disservice. I used to use an auger filler and it took a long time to emulsify the fat in the sausage and it was generally PITA to use. With this filler you can pop the meat, put it on top and fill the casings. It's at least 5 times faster than using a meat grinder attachment, with much better results. So what's the problem? This is the basis. Although they include a few clips, you'll have a hard time keeping your fill stable if you don't have a counter that works with them. Even then, you can only pinch the trailing edge, so it will most likely come loose at least once during stuffing. Definitely not a deal breaker, but it sure is frustrating when it is. The base is hollow so it would be very easy to fit a suction cup like the ones you find on a mandoline slicer. There is plenty of room on the top or side to mount a lever and with a little research and development you can get the perfect product without putting in a lot of effort. I've developed several products, so I know what I'm talking about.
