So I read the reviews. And it's not that I didn't believe them, but it's just that there's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much more to Karen and Ken. I ACCEPT that they can't be as bad as some people make them out to be. That's what the boy bit into me. Yes, the pine cones, twigs and berries are attached to the bottom of the box, not attached to anything, and I assume you just have to put them in, but once the "bush" is erect and fluffed up. . After fluffing up everything in human power on God's green earth, these additional decorations will in no way change the overall look of this sad object. The best I can say is that the light works out of the box. I'm not sure they'll last long, and certainly not until next season, but for now I have at least some Christmas lights on my porch. After shaking them up, my husband and I went to the mailbox and I couldn't help but glance over my shoulder for a distant glimpse. Animal laughter was almost worth the price we paid for it. They look ridiculous, twigs with a strange green that doesn't exist in non-radioactive nature, and they just look pathetic. My husband thought they looked ok which is saying a lot ladies. bless his heart I actually plan on keeping them to myself because I have a lot of herbs in my garden that I can use to cure them like a cheap Totino pizza. There's a bit of a festive feel to it and everyone who comes will be sure to laugh at them as they walk onto my porch. And the light works which is a bonus. The only bonus, really. In any case, don't be stupid and don't ignore the negative reviews. It really sucks as others have warned.
