I was very pleased with this mirror! I read reviews of numerous products and based on my needs, this mirror seemed like the right choice for me. This is not at all what I expected. First let me say the packaging was terrible. The product itself is made out of cheap lightweight plastic which is not durable at all. The stand doesn't stay up, so when you pick it up to take a closer look in the mirror, it falls off every time. The lighting is too weak. I couldn't even see the stray eyebrow hairs that I could see with a desk lamp and hand mirror, so I knew they were there. The small mirror holds without any problems, that's the only positive thing I noticed. I am going to give this to my 10 year old daughter, it would be a good entry level mirror for her but not really a working makeup/grooming mirror that I need.
