After doing my own nail care for 3 years I decided I wanted to bring back the pampering at the nail salon but NOT the serious damage that was being done to my nails. It's not the acrylic that really damages, it's the electronic file they use. I know from experience that a nicely polished nail bed will hold acrylic powder as it should. I did this for three years. Then soaking in acetone or power peeling is what does harm. Sooo, I didn't ask for an e-file. In addition, they are deepened and removed in many layers. Well we are in a pandemic and I forgot to polish my nails before my visit. The manicurist didn't want to use an emery board on my nails and I'm not easily intimidated. So no sawdust that causes the nails to lift off. These kids saved me from recording a week early. Glue spilled on my nail, spots for raised nails and an arrow. No more lifting. Well, I have a week until my new appointment.
