The included tether broke immediately after I attached it to my phone and bike. Upon closer inspection, it turned out that the only thing securing the black nylon strap to the rope attached to the bolt was a simple knot at the end of the rope, going through the holes on either end of the strap!? The tether seems very cheap and probably won't hold the phone if the phone is accidentally knocked over. So definitely don't rely on it as a harness. Unfortunately they ran into the issue of adding a strap/tether and attaching it to the baseplate, which is basically useless. Definitely not what I expected from a "premium" product for its price. Also, there are some other issues if you plan to buy a mount: - As mentioned in other reviews, if you have a fingerprint sensor on the back of your phone like the Google Pixel 3, you won't be able to center the device in landscape mode. Not a big deal if you don't mind. If you have a tall stem like me, you will need enough clearance above the stem to accommodate the bracket. You can increase the mounting angle accordingly, but you probably won't be able to orient your phone in portrait mode. I will have to buy a brand new stem with a lower rise. Due to the above issues, I would not recommend this mount.
