It worked well. Good value for money.
Just fitted to my MX860. Each cartridge came up as expected, does not flow or drip, and the printer recognized the chips. Ran a few pressure checks and all went well. I agree that the colors aren't as vivid as Canon's, but given the price difference I wouldn't expect that.
