Review on 🌞 Protection and Hydration Combined: Sun Bum Moisturizing SPF Hypoallergenic by Maria Campbell

Revainrating 1 out of 5

We've roasted all seven in Maui, even with a few uses.

. I am a sunscreen fanatic and was delighted to read the good reviews and that it is paraben free, reef safe, vegan etc. Skin cancer so thank goodness I made everyone wear rash guards and hats/sunglasses every time we were out of the water because that sunscreen didn't offer absolutely ZERO protection. Anywhere that wasn't covered by our rash guards got the deepest and darkest sunburns, even though we applied them every hour! I don't remember the last time I was sunburned and my husband never gets sunburned. We went to another island for an event a few months ago and had no problems with the sun because we used a different sunscreen. This time we were in so much pain that we had to stay out of the sun for the next 24 hours and missed the vacation day we had been saving and waiting for 2 years. Not to mention I'm worried about skin cancer now with burns that big and deep! Another family we went with had no problem using a different sunscreen so we bought that and had no more burn issues (other than the burns we got with Sun Bum) for the rest of the trip. Even though Sun Bum was expensive and I bought several bottles, we threw them away! I will NEVER use them again! Incidentally, we found Maui Vera (which Revain sells, but we found it on the island) to be surprisingly good at relieving sunburn, as does apple cider vinegar mixed with water in a spray bottle. Serious. still crazy about this sunscreen!
