The waist and flare of the skirt look great! It's not like other high waisted skirts where the flare is only there if you were a petticoat or something to fluff it up. I fluctuate between a size 16-18 US pant size, so I decided to go with a 3x. It fits just fine besides the undershorts, they shrunk after the first wash and then ripped. The shorts are made from very thin fabric and they will either ride up like a second pair of underwear or stay around your thighs, no in between. The shorts are less stretchy than the skirt itself, so when you bend down or something they will rip along the outside thigh seam. The zipper gave me an issue only once, it wouldn't come down after I got off work. There's enough give in the waist that you can get it off and on without unzipping though, so I just took it off, and after I washed it, it unzipped just fine.The skirt is really great and cute! Just has some small issues! I definitely will buy another skirt from them and possibly just cut the shorts out to avoid shrinking and ripping over time.
