I would buy this item again. For my purposes it was good value for money. Good. I'm homeschooling during the pandemic. My study is not very bright. Before virtual meetings and video recordings of training sessions, I kept wandering from room to room trying to find "good light". I finally bought this selfie ring light and now I can keep my rig in one place. It offers three shades of warmth and each type of light can be set to different brightness levels to get just the right amount of light on my face. This is adjustable to get the right height. Poorly. It is very light and easy to fold. I knocked the lantern over many times, holding my breath each time to keep it from breaking. This is not yet the case. Sometimes the adjustable locking mechanism doesn't hold as tight as it should and will retract into the telescopic tube once I've adjusted it. I have to screw it down to make it hold. Ugly. If you wear glasses, the selfie light will be visible through your glasses. After some research I found that it's better to aim the light a little to the side than directly on the face. This reflection is not a product issue but may be an indication to help others who have purchased this product.
