Review on πŸ”΅ BB-TB Sprite Showers Ball Bath Filter in Blue by Kristin Bennett

Satisfied despite defects

I read the reviews before buying, so I knew the defects. However, I would like to reduce my chemical exposure, especially in the bathroom. We have hard water so a whole house filter is out of the question, but I'd like to get rid of the chlorine so I thought I'd give it a try. I often take Epsom salt baths. I will upload photos showing the end results as well as the reasons for my problems. Your bathroom faucet may or may not be different and therefore you may or may not have problems. I have an old yellow bathtub from the 70's with a knob to control hot and cold water. I also have a toggle switch to open and close the drain. I found it to be in the way due to the location. It sticks out from under the faucet in the tub and pushes the filter forward. Also, the faucet slopes down, so both issues resulted in the filter falling off. I didn't want to leave the sticky thing on the faucet all the time and I'm not sure it will hold up in trouble. After checking everything out, my husband and I secured it with a large rubber band. In the future I can get a string. I also had to turn off the water at full blast to reduce overflow. Once I understood all that, everything worked. A noticeable difference in my bath water and how soft and clean I felt when I was done (no more chlorine smell or dryness). However, be prepared that you may need some critical thinking/problem solving depending on your bathtub setup. Overall I'm satisfied, but the extra work was worth it. You know yourself best and will know if you can take the time to make it work.
