Constantly lost the Roku TV remote in bed. which prompted me to find a solution to this problem. what led me to this product. I found cables for remote controls. I wasn't sure if they would fix this problem - so I made my own out of a lanyard and keychain. The key chain was flexible thin plastic that I was able to cut with scissors so that it lay flat on the front of the remote, after cutting it I taped it in place. Surprisingly it worked! Instead of trying to find a small remote that got tangled up in cases, the lanyard is long and it's a lot easier to find it or the remote! Now when I'm not using it, I leave it on the table or on the bed, or it was put on the dresser. yes, now to the right storage space. I decided to use the side of my bedside table. I raised the holder with the remote control to get the height. (I didn't want it sticking out above the table.) Then I just attached it with screws. Perfect! Easy to reach! Exactly where I need it! I only have a TV remote in one, but I'm going to put different stuff in there too. (The Pioneer receiver's remote is really big, but it fits perfectly.) If you look at the desk, you don't see the remotes, and my desk is clear now! By the way, the holder will stand alone, with remote controls inside. also has holes on the bottom of the holders. Not sure why. Comes with 2 mounting screws (which were easy to install) and tape already installed if you want to go that route.
