This was a much better design than I expected - a 3D look of carbon fiber through plexiglass with thin outer rounded edges - very stylish. It has the fit and finish of a product that's more of an ornament than a useful piece of plastic. It also pairs easily with my Tesla Model 3 and works well to unlock the car via an external rack. I believe there are inevitable quirks in terms of feature consistency, as Teslas sometimes need to "wake up" to detect touches on the ring. I can't confirm that with certainty, but if it's true then it's easy to add another star to the rating.
