So I've had this lighter for about a month now. I consider myself a cigar enthusiast in training so I smoked quite a bit. All of these reviews deserve attention, and here's why: yes, the lighter works and yes, it has issues. I have been able to alleviate these problems by doing one or a combination of the following: 1) Refueling, even if I have recently refueled. Sometimes it seems like it's going to end quickly. I fill it up before going to the cigar bar, I use it, let my friends use it, it works well. The next day it doesn't light up. Usually refilling solves this problem. However; 2) When solution #1 doesn't work, I fiddle with the flame controller. I found the sweet spot somewhere between half and full. But if it doesn't work. 3) Release some of the empty air that may be inside. I do this by taking these tiny screwdrivers (can't remember their names) and pushing on the valve where the fuel goes. I do this for half a second or a full second (I think one is Mississippi) and everything is fine. I understand this needs to be addressed. Understandably, most of them want their lighter to fire on the first click every time, and some do. My backup lighter, a double flame, works every time it runs out of liquid. I paid 5β¬ for it in the store. This $6 lighter doesn't work that well, but it works for me. Hope that was helpful!
