First I had Carabella, my Havana test drive, a soft walled box that collapsed, rolled and she frightened to the point of death. I then received this dog bed, which was delivered at the same time. She went from helper to lucky guy in a matter of seconds. Me? I'm laughing so hard I almost pee my pants! The case is HUGE. I put her old bed next to her for you to see. We are having a new puppy next week and as I am making a new bed for him I have decided to replace the bed I have had for 20 years. The old one was a bit small for her, but she chose it every time. Washed it so many times. It's amazing he looks so good. But back to the big big bed. The box it was shipped in was huge, but since Revane has a habit of shipping things in oversized boxes, I didn't give it much thought. I thought they must have sent the wrong size when I opened it but no, this huge bed is a medium! The quality seems to be very good. It reminds me so much of LoveSacs that my dogs thought they were meant for her even though they are for humans. I like that it's reversible. I like that it fits my dog. She's already out of him, and that may be because he seems very warm. I will clarify. If you have a small home or don't want your dog's bed to dominate any room he's in, I would suggest downsizing or choosing something else. I know the company makes different styles and not all are so over the top. I want it to be fur on one side and fabric on the other. So it gets cool in summer and warm in winter. I'm keeping it but as I have one for a puppy I may have to return it as both dogs will get along fine. The question is whether they want it or not. Maybe they want their own bed, and if they do, I expect lots of giggles next time my friends drop by. They think Love Sacs is funny. They will blow their minds when they see how big this thing is for a 25 pound dog. Oh and I would recommend it as it is very well done. Just be aware that it's VERY big in rolls and if you have kids they can steal it from the dog.
