This product works as advertised but is not designed for Mac users. It doesn't seem possible to update the firmware from a Mac. I downloaded the Chrome browser (as required for some reason) and then downloaded D'cent's "bridge app" and ran it as needed. Then I plugged in the device, powered it on, authenticated and nothing. The device was not recognized. I then downloaded their troubleshooting guide and found that it was 100% geared towards Windows users. That's fine, but be honest: don't say your device supports Mac if you don't support Mac. That way, Mac users, like me, can know to look elsewhere.
