Finally an honest, royalty-free review on this product! Well what a ridiculous mistake on my part buying this "thaw" tray. To test this, I placed 12 ounces of cooked frozen shrimp on the unit. Exactly an hour later, these shrimp were barely beginning to thaw - no better than if I had just left them on the counter, as you can see in the close-up photo that shows how frozen these shrimp are after 60 minutes on the counter. "Thaw" the tray. At this point I did the usual sane thing and rinsed them under cold water for 5 minutes to thaw them. I mean yes. Besides, I was hungry. Here's an idea for you to enjoy a "quick" snack with a shrimp cocktail. I doubt I can return it now that it's been used so I'll just throw it away. What a waste of money.
