Had high hopes for this cup holder for my two brand new electric bikes. I like to bring coffee in a mug or thermos in the mornings to the beach when I ride. The problem with this holder is that it is not deep enough and with standard 16oz full thermos the cup holder spins sideways. No way to really lock down the holder to prevent spinning. The manufacturer forgot about the concept of "center of mass" and the center of mass of larger cups is above the actual attachment to the bike and +12oz cups will swivel sideways and spill drink or bang onto your hand when riding. See my photo if that makes sense. Looking for another cup holder now. You will be fine if all you use is 12oz soda cans. Otherwise look elsewhere.
