LEDs are not evenly bright, so much so as to destroy the illusion. It is obvious that the brightness changes from one finger to the next, that the viewer is at a loss as to why and inevitably understands that something is different about the finger. A brighter LED has a slightly weaker battery (2.9 VDC) than a weak one (3.1 VDC). I'm hoping the seller sends another pair that match in brightness, otherwise a battery may be dead or it's dimming somehow. Also, the thumbs are too small to cover the first knuckle of my average hand.
