This is a skinny tie. I bought this (and other DC ties) for a comic book wedding for me and my sons to wear. The tie was a bit short for my taste. I was able to get it to work but the spine couldn't be tucked into the holder so I had to use a tie pin. Perhaps this would be ideal for a child or teenager as my boys (20, 17, 12) had no problems.
