all aluminum? NO!

"The aluminum alloy body dissipates heat well, so the heat generated during use is accelerated by the wind." Made of thick plastic with no ventilation. There are four small (non-captive) hex screws that need to be removed from the front panel, these are basically the same screws used to attach the drives to the rails. I say mostly because the screw bag actually contains two screw types that are almost identical except for the thread pitch! Good luck sharing! Why they couldn't use thumbscrews or captive screws on the case (and captive/thumbscrews on the rails would be a bonus) is beyond me. Needless to say, I didn't even bother turning it on, putting it back in the box, and back again. to Revain and I will look elsewhere. (I've been using Mediasonic Probox cases for years, and it's a big step up in quality and design.)

Pros
  • great product
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks
