My daughter, who plays softball in high school, loved this jacket. The purple color is bright and looks good in the field. The half-zip makes it easy to put on and take off, which comes in handy during games when she needs to quickly switch gloves to field gloves. The material is lightweight yet offers enough warmth to keep you comfortable on chilly evenings. The only reason I didn't give this jacket 5 stars is because the size is a bit small. We bought the small size which fits her well but may not suit a player who prefers a looser fit. All in all, we recommend the Mizuno Girls Comp Half Zip to young athletes who are looking for a stylish and functional jacket for their games.
