I was heartbroken when my *expensive* Bose Sleepbuds broke and I realized they were no longer made. As a newlywed to a man who snored, something needed to be done about my sleep/sanity. I have tried wired (pluggable) versions of the headphones/earbuds but this was an issue as it would pull on my iPhone and then inevitably short out the cable. My husband found them and they save lives (and marriages). Pros: - Can listen to brown/white noise all night without worrying about battery drain. - Charges quickly (maybe just charge 2 hours to last all night). ?).- Handy for side sleepers.- You can hear *everything* through your phone. Find your favorite brown/white noise app. Inexpensive (and $200 less than Sleepbuds!) Blocks many snoring sounds, but not all. Ask him/her to get a CPAP machine too. - Improves sleep for light sleepers. - Still perfect at over 3 months. - Saves marriages! Cons: - I hate flashing lights. Take some tape to cover this. - The lowest volume is a bit high for my sensitive ears, but you can pull the headphones out a bit to help. - When you mute the volume, it will beep loudly. Ouch! - Sometimes my ears get itchy (or I get an allergy). Take some ear oil to relieve the itching. I've never heard a smoke alarm, but the noise canceling isn't good enough to be woken up by my husband's loud farts. Find out.
