Good old StarTech. I tried several other Type-C hubs but none matched their descriptions. This one is simple and has everything you need for USB 3.1 gen2 drives and devices. It uses all 10GB ports if the connected device (and its connecting cable) supports that speed. It is fully backward compatible. Dual purpose data/power connector works with all configurations. He had no problem with 3 separate devices being connected at the same time and data being transferred between them. I used 2 Type-A and 1 Type-C flash drives at the same time as well as mixed with an external hard drive. To make it even better, it runs at full speed when I plug it into the PC's USB Type-A 3.1 Gen2 port (via QianLink USB A 3.1 Gen2 male to USB C 3.1 Gen2 female). Using a Type-C 3.1 Gen2 extension cable I can get 2 fast Type-C jacks (plus 2 Type-A on the hub), although I used to only have one of each. Just make sure all your cables are rated for speed. ;}
