Review on 🔧 Mini Cooper Engine Water Pipe with O-Ring for Water Pump to Thermostat Housing (Part Number: 11537589713) by Tony Kingdom

Add to previous review New review (2 stars) Adapter pipe changed to mini for the third time (three different cars). The first two times were uneventful - the part came up with no problems. see my original review below. I originally bought this variant based on numerous reviews pointing to a good fit and superior construction. It used to be like that, but now it's not true. July 2020 and it looks like the supplier has switched to a cheaper/lower quality source as the tube is much thinner plastic and the o-ring (now black instead of red as pictured) is slightly oversized. If you don't align it perfectly, the o-ring will bind and break. Revain sent a replacement and it was the same black ring. I managed to install it successfully, but I won't order it again. — Original rating (5 stars) Fits perfectly. It is recommended that the adapter tube be replaced along with the thermostat housing - if you do all this work it's just a few extra steps. When removing, note the orientation of the original tube so that you can more easily align the replacement tube.
