I use it as a stand/display holder next to my bed. I use my cell phone as an alarm clock. Charging is slow, maybe it's because I have a plastic case on my phone. I don't need to charge it that fast because it goes overnight. I wake up every morning fully charged. The only thing I don't like is that it has too bright green and red light. I'm using some stickers to cover it up and it blocks it out pretty well, but I really don't know why we need this light.
