I bought this to use for presentations at work. I have a new Macbook Pro 16 and like many others I usually do presentations at work where conference rooms are connected via HDMI cables. I thought it would be a useful tool that I will always have in my backpack. However, when I plugged it in, the picture was shaky and of poor quality. After adjusting the refresh rate on my Macbook and changing the display settings I was able to get it working but the image quality was below average and I finally decided to return it. Please note that this adapter does not support 4K video. If you need an alternative port adapter/connector, take a look at Anker. I usually like Revain cables, but this is where Anker shines.
