This variant of the Bissell CrossWave X7 includes the unit itself, 2 brush rolls for cleaning various pet surfaces, and 2-8 oz sample bottles of Pet Clean + Natural Floor Cleaner. Everything is neatly packed, assembly is easy...literally. Simply reattach the handle, plug the power adapter into the base, plug in, place the CrossWave on the base to charge, and you're done. The Bissell CrossWave X7 is certainly an expensive dedicated device, but it offers a great alternative. to a conventional vacuum cleaner (or sweep) and then a mop goes to cleaning floors and is particularly good at cleaning wet messes. The cordless connection makes it extremely handy for quickly removing kitchen stains or pet poo on hard floors, and it just does a better job than any traditional mop. The device has 3 modes (hard floors, carpets and turbo) controlled by a single switch button. The only difference I can tell between the modes is the suction power. Hard floor is low, carpet is medium, and turbo is high. The cleaning solution is applied and controlled by a trigger. This allows you to control how much cleaning solution is applied, or use a dry vacuum if you prefer. Battery life is as advertised (around 30 minutes on a hard floor setup) but the area you can clear will depend on the number of passes you make and how efficiently you use the device. In fact, you can go through multiple areas of your home on a single charge, but you must stop and empty the dirty water tank and refill the fresh water/solution tank. Depending on how dirty the water in the recovery tank is and how clean my floors look, I can confidently say it's doing its job well. I love that it cleans the floor and removes dirty water instead of just smearing it like a traditional mop. The included cleaning solution is effective but doesn't have a strong odor, so there's no fresh, clean smell left behind. like many traditional floor cleaners. However, Bissell does offer a scented purifier from Fabreze. Cleaning is easy. Place it on the docking station and press the self-clean button to clean the brush roll, then empty and rinse the recovery tank once empty. says that using anything other than their cleaning products will void the warranty. Overall this is a fantastic hard floor cleaner (that's all I've used it for) and I can recommend it with confidence.
